while some tracks on here are just spectacular i feel that their just trying to be p!atd, it becomes very very clear when you watch their music video. on the brighter side, they do a great job with the interconnected-ness of the album, i don't only mean the decently interesting story, but also the songs often blend into each other, elevating it all as a whole.
i enjoy this album as much as the next post-hardcore loser, but i find the lyrics often painfully obvious. the instrumentation mostly makes up for that though (mostly).
solidly great album, if you like the common music of the 80s, which i do.
the lead singers voice wraps around your heart as it envelopes your ears. the drumming is a highlight to e personally, it doesnt hide in the background and mixes well with all the elements. listening to this album always feels like coming back, even on the first listen.
its truly a sad thing this album isnt more well known.
productions quite nice, vocals not so much in my opinion. i find it an interesting album, but im not sure i want to ever listen to it again. although that could just be me.
i first heard this album while digging through my dads old cd collection. we were going for a daytrip and i had just been given all the cds so i thought to listen to them in the car. i could never regret hat decision. it was a experience i cant put to words, from the very first song i fell in love.
