Dude these guys fucking killed it live. I had never really heard much of halestorm before seeing them live with evanescence and the warning (shout out those guys btw, they killed it too) besides I miss the misery and this song so when I heard them they fucking blew me and my friends minds and (this might be a hot take) put her up there as one of my favourite vocalists in the genre. This song is fucking insane and I love her vocals on it
Perfect song to drink prime, eat lunchly, listen talk tuah, and think about if life is even worth living anymore to🔥
THIS IS MY 100TH REVIEW!!!!
I figured that my 100th review should be an album that's very special to me, so I decided to review the first album that I heard of my favourite band. Although this isn't my favourite bmth album, it's the one that means the most to me. Like I said, it was the first bmth album I've heard and is one of the best first listens I've had. Every song is so fucking sick and fits in the tracklist perfectly, I cant imagine the tracklist with even one ... read more
Nothing really horrible here (besides the first song), it's just really boring and all the songs kinda sound the same. They somehow made a 32 minute and 10 song album feel like it was lasting forever
Highlights: Light it up, The fall guy, You cant get there from here (favourite)
Least favourite: Looking out for #1
EDIT: 86 --> 90
EDIT #2: 90 —>100
Clancy is twenty one pilots coming back to the cool ass sound that was in Trench (which makes sense considering the lore of it) and although I probably still like trench more, this album is still great with not a boring moment
Highlights: Overcompensate, Next semester, Backslide, MIdwest indigo, Routines in the night, Vignette, Lavish, Navigating (favourite), Snap back, At the risk of feeling dumb, Paladin strait
Least favourite: Oldies station
This album was so nothing and really lacked personality, originality and was just as lame as the cover art. A part of what I love about listening to new music is hearing an artist have their own sound, and this album has absolutely nothing that shows me who Tate McRae is as an artist or why i should care about her. While not awful or anything this album just doesn't do anything to stand out compared to other albums that came out this year. Hell, even the Falling in reverse album had more ... read more
Nowhere near one of the best albums of the year but still very solid
Favourites: bye, don't wanna break up again, supernatural, true story, the boy is mine, yes and?, we cant be friends, i wish I hated you, Imperfect for you (favourite), ordinary things
Least favourite: eternal sunshine
If this came out a few months later y'all would be freaking out
Although not incredible or anything, this album manages to keep me entertained throughout most of its runtime. There are some songs that are pretty forgettable like pick me but some great songs like Doing it again baby and Too much
All around this album is nothing crazy but still pretty good. Also the outro of Phantom pain kinda sounds like Jojo Siwa to me
Its good but could've been great. There is a great song in here but the structure could've been improved on. The song should've been longer and led up to the chorus better.
This cover art is actually incredible though, genuinely so fucking sick looking. It has the kinda corny lyrics you come to expect from Dan Reynolds who wrote this song along with Yungblud but its not as bad on here as it is in Imagine dragons stuff
I remember when I first tried to listen to this I couldn't get through it. The noises were too much for me, but now that I've dived more into music with these kinds of vocals and have gotten used of them I decided to give this a try again and I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed this
Decent chorus but the rest is pretty mid. I FUCK MEN is a fire adlib though ngl
Such a good time to listen to. The 365 cover is insane but very good and I honestly might like it more than the original
Might be my album of the year so far. This is sick as hell and is the perfect length
EDIT: So not my aoty BUT definitely up there
