Kanye West - Graduation
86

"B-but Kanye made Graduation!" was the excuse I used to hear whenever someone pointed out Kanye's awful behavior (notice how I speak in past tense because it is impossible to defend him today). And I finally gave myself the chance to experience the album and determine if the hype was worth it.
It is, indeed, a mind-blowing album. It has my favorite production so far, and I found some of my favorite songs from his discography here: "Stronger", "Can't Tell Me ... read more

Ariana Grande - Positions
69

I think I've been too harsh on this album, I was heavily disappointed when it first came out because some songs just feel soulless with no purpose. But after some relistens I have found myself vibing to it more. It is waaaay far from being Ariana's best work, but it's not horrible, just... okay. pov is still one of my favorite songs from her.
I'll give it a 34 + 35.

Selena Gomez - I Said I Love You First
53

I really wanted to like this album but I felt something was missing… it’s not that bad as some people make it out to be, it’s just that most of the songs are forgettable.
I liked sunset blvd, don’t wanna cry and the closing track.
I did not say “I love you” to this album first 😞

Miley Cyrus - Plastic Hearts
98

This was my favorite album to listen during the pandemic, and it still hits nowadays!
I loved this era of Miley so much.

Kanye West - Late Registration
92

Continuing my journey through Kanye's discography...
I enjoyed this album even more than the first one! It is a really solid project from start to finish, and all the aspects I liked from "The College Dropout" seem more polished here.
My favorites were "We Major", "Gold Digger", "Gone" and "Diamonds From Sierra Leona" (the remix). One thing both albums I've heard so far have in common is that my favorite song is a Jay Z collab. ... read more

Lady Gaga - MAYHEM
71

2026 Edit: It has grown on me! Not my fav album still

I don't know about this album... I think it was too loud for me.
For me, Gaga was trying to be many things in this project but couldn't excel in any of them. There are some good songs, of course. I like the Taylor inspired song, not everyone can mimick her style as smoothly as she did. She also made a good Michael Jackson impression in "Shadow of a Man".
Also, "Die With A Smile" (a great song) doesn't ... read more

Magdalena Bay - Mercurial World
96

This duo only knows how to make masterpieces and I love the world of sounds they create with each project. My favorites here are "The Beginning", "Dawning of the Season" and "Prophecy" but all songs here are truly amazing.

LISA - Alter Ego
66

There’s something I loooove so much about Lisa, her aura is immaculate. I would watch endless content of her just existing because her energy just amazes me. If I was straight I wouldnt hesitate to marry her in an instant, actually I WOULD marry her idc she’s my exception. I love her so much omg. I would let her call me slurs she’s just that iconic to me.

The album? Oh yeah. I forgot. It was okay.
A few skips here and there, but also has some hidden gems, and others not so ... read more

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
84

After having breakfast with my friends for my birthday, one of my friends played the song "Sodium Chloride" in his car. I was in the backseat and just vibed with the song all the way back, and I quickly shazamed it so I could keep listening to it later.
Some days later I looked up who Panchiko was and found the story of this album and how it was "lost" but rescued thanks to the internet. I found the story to be very interesting and knew I had to listen to the whole project ... read more

Tate McRae - So Close To What
73

I wasn't a fan of Tate's former projects with the exception of a few songs, so I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this album! It seems Tate finally found a sound that suits her and damn she is making bops with it. I am not saying this is a revolutionary album but all the songs are pretty good and fun, and sometimes that is all we need. Great job, Tate!
My favs were 2 hands, it's ok i'm ok and sports car.

Beyoncé - COWBOY CARTER
86

After seeing so many people on tiktok and twitter shitting on Beyonce and the album without even listening to it just bc their favs didn't win album of the year at the grammy's, I found myself in an urge to defend this album from all the uninformed people.

First of all, this album is OUTSTANDING. Is it my favorite album of 2024? Nope. But it is still a great album and very deserving of that grammy. People are overlooking the historical context it carries, with Bey reclaiming the ... read more

Charli xcx - Brat and it's completely different but also still brat
67

brat and it's completely different because there are new artists featured in each song giving a new perspective to each one of them and even turning ones that were previously unlistenable into solid 10s (i think about it all the time) but at the same time also downgrading the quality of the original album's highlights however overall there were more improves than downgrades which make the album slightly better and that is not thanks to charli but to the artists she invited, but still ... read more

Kanye West - The College Dropout
87

what a bad timing to post this smh
anyway, a few months ago i was convinced to listen to kanye's discography, and even though i hate him as a person i ultimately accepted bc i know he makes great music (or at least that is what i was told). i could confirm this claim by listening to his debut album, and i really enjoyed it. It has everything: revolutionary production, great beats and strong lyricism, even loaded with a bit of humor. there were some songs i didn't quite connect with ... read more

Bad Bunny - DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS
91

woohoo first review of the year

Rauw Alejandro - Cosa Nuestra
78

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk
100

After many listens of this gem I can finally say… THIS IS THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR.
I won’t say much, let the album speak for itself.
The sonically landscape, production, lyrics, everything that was put into these songs takes me to another dimension every time I listen to this project. The Argentinian duo gained themselves a new fan with this and I can’t wait for their future releases.

Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism
67

After blessing us with the pop masterpiece that was “Future Nostalgia”, Dua returned with her long-awaited third studio album and it was a radical… disappointment.
Seriously Dua, what happened? I can’t say the album is bad but it is a HUGE downgrade from what we were used to. The singles are great, but all of the other tracks feel empty. Some are good, some are okay, and others are really mediocre. We waited so much for… this???
Even though some songs have grew ... read more

Conan Gray - Found Heaven
53

okay so…
when i was on the first tracks i thought i would really like this album, especially after hearing alley rose, but just after that song things started going downhill for me.
i applaud when artists experiment with new things and try new sounds, and conan successfully achieved great songs with this new change, but he also failed the assignment in basically half of the album.
i think some songs felt… forced? trying so hard to make a likeable beat or melody and losing their ... read more

Lorde - Melodrama
94

shoutout to my friend xime who made me realize that there’s so much more to lorde than her atrocious whispering and she’s actually an amazing writer (in the dark) <3
no cause genuinely homemade dynamite, liability, supercut and the title track are some of the best pop songs i’ve ever heard.
insane production (ly jack), insane lyrics, insane soundscape
this definitely has a spot on the louvre of my favorite albums, down the back, but who cares? still the louvre.

Taylor Swift - Midnights
89

Happy two years of Midnights!
(only rating the standard version)
For me, I feel like Midnights is a very underrated album and the people just reduce it to the singles and everything that was around it (the eras tour, the taylormania, etc.) rather than the music.
The concept of this project is very interesting, Taylor tells us the story about 13 sleepless nights in which she faced feelings like love, self-hatred, confusion, depression, and even revenge. If you are a dedicated swiftie you can ... read more
