sufjan stevens will always be THE best male artist for me. his albums are up there with ethel and lana in my rankings, and they’re my big three in music. carrie and lowell is one of the best albums ever and i stand by that— i can’t count how many times i’ve cried to mystery of love’s demo, should’ve known better, or the only thing. it’s tenth anniversary marks the start of something amazing in his music ♡
