THIS IS THE FUTURE OF RAP.
How is the deluxe MUCH better than the original, even when that was already one of the best ug albums of the year? The production, the energy, the flows... everything just fits together so flawlessly. I can't name you a more skilled rapper in the ug right now, honestly. Combine that with the incredible chemistry Slayr got with his producers (mainly Waera), and you get this absolute sensation of a project. Daytona is my song of the year so far.

It's crazy that the best song with Drake's voice on it that dropped this Friday is on the Lil Shine album. And it isn't really close either.

Am i really the only one who liked the Lil Yachty song :(?
Nothing crazy, but enough to make me interested for the album (not that i wouldnt listen to it anyways). Lucki is just consistently very good with everything he does.
This project is pretty diverse, which keeps it fun and enjoyable throughout the whole listen. Unfortunately, there are only a few ideas that I would say were executed very well. Some songs really lacked originality, but most of the time I found something to like even in the more pop-sounding songs. The biggest highs were usually the electropop cuts.
Bonus points for the Yoshi City sample :)
