Freedom of Choice is, in my mind, DEVO's magnum opus -- while their debut record embraces an oddball mix of punk, postpunk and new wave sounds, by 1980 their style was almost unrecognizable for the better. IDLES hit the sweet spot on Ultra Mono; it's unwavering in its politics and loaded with sharp wit, but perhaps most importantly, it's a kickass punk record.
As someone who's never heard Rav, Kill Bill: the Rapper or Scuare before, this record serves as a great introduction to the three. SKIN sounds very much like a bedroom rap album, which, along with the wonderful chemistry between the three artists production-wise and lyrically, makes for a charisma-heavy and relaxing project.
I'm a few months late to the party, but these fellas will definitely be on my radar going forward.
Savage Mode II is my favorite project from both 21 and Metro Boomin individually in the past several years, with some great beats and cold bars throughout alongside some great interludes from none other than Morgan Freeman himself.

The Dead Milkmen's lyrics on Big Lizard in My Backyard are certainly the highlight of this record, ranging from a Jim Morrison impression on 'Bitchin' Camero' to more serious political commentary on 'Right Wing Pigeons'. Along with the band's humor, the tracks on this record have that classic punk sound that makes for an enjoyable 42 minutes of listening despite being somewhat shallow below the surface.
