Genuinely one of the most underrated artists I've ever heard. This album is gonna be incredible.
99 // Forecast (Such a Beautiful Day)
99 // Counting Raindrops
JVKE is so talented, so why is he barely using that talent ๐๐
"easy" is a pretty good song, but that's about it lmao
Will always be my favorite Taylor Swift song by a long shot
Pure nostalgia, how can you not love it <3
CASPER might be in the conversation for the greatest song of all time, what the hell bro ๐
*full review coming soon*
Sometimes I love not having Spotify premium, because I can't believe I found this absolute gem on shuffle. What a beautiful, soul-healing song, and the fact that it's only at 800K downloads on Spotify is criminally underrated <3
I'm the only person that's rated this song so far, so I definitely recommend giving it a listen.
EDIT: Just learned that this is a cover of a Frank Sinatra song, ig that's just another reason for me to like it
WOW. This has gotta be my 1st or 2nd favorite song he’s ever made, tied with Before You. This is so dang groovy and upbeat, it’s insane
Woah... I've only listened to like 3 Lana songs, so I was not expecting something of this caliber.
This was incredible wtf

Hey guys. We’re just a few hours away from the release of “Hers”, so I wanted to take a moment to talk about why this album means so much to me — more than most upcoming projects in all honesty.
I first discovered Matt Maltese on January 8, 2023, through his most popular song, “As The World Caves In.” ... read more
The original version of “this is what floating feels like” by JVKE came out in February 2024, and I’m not even gonna lie, that might be in my top 20 favorite songs of all time. That song was magical, and if it was on AOTY I would instantly give it a 100; however, a couple days after being released, it was taken down out of nowhere, and there was radio silence about the song for over a year.
Now, this song has been surprisingly revived and revamped with Tori Kelly ... read more
This is absolutely on track to be one of my favorite albums of all time.
So far, these 4 songs have been flawless.
He's already entered my Top 3 artists of all time as these singles were released, so I really hope this is what skyrockets Matt Maltese into the eyes of the AOTY community and so much further ๐

(My first true album review in 133 days ๐๐)
I have listened to a few of Djo's tracks in the past (End of Beginning, Chateau, Roddy, I Want Your Video), but I've never listened to one of his albums in full before. So when I saw that he released a new album the same day as BCNR and Jane Remover, I figured I would add him to the listening party that day.
And I am so glad I did, because wow... this album is phenomenal.

This album is gonna be generational...

• 94 // Setting Sail (this is highly subject to change)
Probably in my top 3 favorite songs of all time.
This was my most played song in 2023, and I think I can understand why
I was a bit worried that we weren’t gonna get any songs with the sound that made d4vd popular in the first place, but this is definitely one of those tracks, and it builds off of songs like “You & I” and “Rehab” with much better production and vocals.
The song itself is very catchy and I keep having the urge to sing the chorus over and over again, but I do wish it progressed a little more. I get that it’s kinda hard to progress a song like this, but ... read more
Was NOT expecting this to go so hard.
And the message is just as powerful as the music itself.
After hearing Big Dawgs, I totally thought this was gonna be another "one-hit wonder", but I was totally mistaken.
This is actually so nostalgic, it's insane
Y'all might flame me for this take but that's fine ๐ญ They at least turned the original into a replayable song
My favorite EP of all time.
It's really unfortunate that other people here don't agree, but these songs have such a special place in my heart, and this just further solidifies Stephen Sanchez as my favorite artist.

I know this is sounds very similar to "golden hour" and "her", but I honestly think this is better than both songs.
His production has gotten so much better since 2022, but if he just kept making songs at the same level of "this is what autumn/winter/space feels like" and "lavender", he might be my favorite artist right now.
