"The Downward Spiral" before "The Downward Spiral".
"World In My Eyes", "Personal Jesus", "Enjoy the Silence" and "Policy of Truth" are all peak.
Brilliant, pitch-black album from start to finish.
"Closer" and "Hurt" are two of the best songs I've ever heard.
Haters gonna hate. Only a few songs are truly great, like "Do I Wanna Know?" and "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?", but the rest are decent. Harmless rock songs that coast on a 6.5 or 7/10.
Maybe I'm too lenient towards this album cos I'm British innit.
Worth the price of admission for "Riders on the Storm" alone.
Oh, and "The Changeling" is definitely the most underrated Doors song.
