Ngl, it's really only some of the most pretentious people in the world that rate this album exceedingly poorly lol. I don't care for Sabrina's music and this is the only album of hers I've listened to as of posting this review. Easily my favorite album of Thomas Rhett's. While I like some songs on here a little less than others, none of them are really skippable to me. I love that it's an album that has no features, so nothing's ruined by an unwanted additional artist. It's all up to Thomas to show off and he did so perfectly in my opinion. So many unique songs too, with styles he's never really tackled before and even those were phenomenal.
Suitor Attacks is such an iconic track and carries the majority of this review. Every other track is nothing but great, but Suitor Attacks is beyond perfect.
I never thought I'd see myself give any album other than Sunday Drive by Brett Eldredge a 100%, but I just have to give this album a 100%. Mikko Tarmia is truly a genius in composing and writing music and he alone has made me discover a newfound love and appreciation for horror/moody music with no vocals. The instrumentals and sound effects do all the talking, and it perfectly conveys so much emotion. It allows for so much creativity and imagination and it's just genuinely so beautiful.
Just going to preface this review by saying 34 tracks is far too long. This could have easily been separated out into two albums and even then, I don't really understand some of the hype around this album, don't get me wrong, a lot of the songs are fairly good, but most aren't really that memorable or particularly amazing to me.
