it aint as bad as people say, but its still not like anything that special, the sound here is still similar to this previous albums which is getting boring now, although nas does have a somewhat more of a pop sound to some of these songs which can be hit and miss, the main issue is that some of the songs just sound awkward and boring, there are still some good ones on here, but its overall just alright

now this albums is definetly a big drop off of quality from illmatic or it was written, but yknow its still pretty decent, once again the sound isnt really changed here (except for maybe it being a bit less jazzy), the first half is actually really good, but then it drops off in the 2nd half (except for nas is like), theres not much else for me to say here, while its not great, it still good

this is honestly really close to illmatic in quality, illmatic is slightly better but this also shouldnt be ignored at all, it is pretty similar, having nice jazzy boom bap beats with nas great rapping and lyricism, there are quite some more features here, and theyre all pretty good, this album doesnt really deviate from the formula that illmatic used at all but eh, its still pretty damn great

i dont really get why people say its the best rap album of all time, but that doesnt stop it from still being really great, its pretty traditional rap with good jazzy instrumentals and samples, nas' rapping goes really hard on some of these songs, i can definetly see why this was pretty groundbreaking at the time, especially with how young he was when making this, overall a slighty overrated but still amazing album

well it sure has grown on me
this is probably yayayis most regular album, its pretty chill and welcoming, its a great album full of great beats that are really cool, sometimes having incredbile chiptune or great samples, i just really like most of it, although the last 2 tracks kinda ruin it, but everything else about the album makes up for it, just overall another show of yayayi production skills

once again yayayi shows how great of a prouder he is, this time being much more relaxing and wonky, just really cool and surreal instrumentals, it being chopped and screwed might make it a bit weird but overall this is still awesome, im not counting 999% here but maybe thats for the better, dont got much to say other than its great

no i dont wanna read you or bitchfuck you
absolute crazy stuff, 1.5 hours of pure fun honestly, insanely cool instrumentals, the chiptune parts are some of the best instrumentals ive ever heard, its like a giant gauntlet that keeps throwing shit at you, managed to keep me glued for most of the album, i dont know what else to say other than this is fantastic
just a collection of really cool songs that are similar to ones are volcanic bird enemy, theyre all really good, i dont have much to say other than that trip hop lum is the best lum, i overall really liked this

his best album to date, which sounds unlike anything hes done before, every song here is amazing and surreal, its so weird and abstract yet peak at the same time, travis' performances here add to the surreal and depressive nature to it really well, the production is fantastic, every instrumental is a banger, all in different type of ways, and overall its really cool and works really well as a finale album honestly

some incredible stuff, being his darkest album yet, the lyrics and lum's emotional performances are fantastic here, and the production is also really cool, this really has some of his best work yet, the problem is that half of this album is just instrumentals, which they are still good, they kinda lower the score a bit, it doesnt really matter because the album is still amazing

its a really interesting album, probably some of his best writing yet, its also sonically great with it having some cool almost psychadelic sounding stuff, and its just really weird in a cool way, not his best work but i still really enjoyed it, all the noise interludes were a bit annoying but the album overall i think is great, its dark yet also vibey, just some pretty cool shit overall

i mean i still quite like this but its probably my least favourite beat tape from him, like the songs are still good but they passed by kinda quickly without as much enjoyability as his other beat tapes, i dont have much else to say, its still definelty some good jazzy beats its just not as fun as his other albums, yet its still nice
once again really cool stuff, its a great boom bap album, nickelus has some great rapping here and lum provides awesome instrumentals with it, its not like super crazy but still suprisingly very nice, side b is a better better than side a, but both are still great, its pretty simple yet effective, dont have much else to say, just overall a really solid rapper/producer collab (im ranking this with the version that has days like this instead of lucid slowed)

crazy stuff, a 2 hour long album where basically every song changes genre, and it manages to be great throught most of it, everything here from the hip hop, to the pop, to the metal, to the rock, to the ambience, its all really nice honestly, sure its kinda bloated and some tracks are boring but most of it is really good, just a great collage of different sounds all done suprisingly well
best song of each side

its kind of a return to tradition, more regular rapping with good beats, its not anything that special but its still pretty good, the features here are interesting and the ep is overall nice, maybe some songs here and there are bloated but its mostly fine
awesome beat and great rapping, just what you want out of a song, buuuut its not perfect, maybe it unecessarily goes on for too long and once again i cant rate it that high because its only an ep (it says single but @TheOwl told me its an ep and if it isnt then you can beat him up)
its... something... random ass black metal lum album that sounds like it was recorded on a wii speak, its just 10 minutes of kind of the same time over and over again, its not bad but like this really just kinda exists
yeah its honestly better than volume 1, its much more of a grounded beat tape, and the beats are all really good honestly, most of them are bangers, its a bit bloated but whatever, its still pretty damn fun with all of it, having more relaxing beats which sound pretty cool, it all fits pretty nicely, not much else to say here, just great instrumentals

i was walking on the road one day, it was pretty peaceful, birds chirping, wind flowing, i was having a nice time taking in the beauty of the outside world, i sat down on a bench near a river, i had a homemade sandwich with me in a bag, it was tasty, the atmosphere was nice, i saw some birds and i fed them some bred that i ripped from the sandwich, afterwards i went to a playground, felt like running around the place and maybe getting some excersize, after some time i realized that it was ... read more
suprisingly good for a mixtape like this, just a collection of a bunch of beats lum made earlier, some are great, some are just alright, but overall theyre mostly good, some are more funky, some are more mysterious sounding almost, i dont got much to say about this, but the tape is pretty damn cool, its also kinda impressive cus it kept my attention throught practically all of it
