A$AP Rocky - LIVE.LOVE.A$AP [Reissue]
93

sandman is peak but losing kissin pink and out of this world kinda stinks so this version is slightly worse

A$AP Rocky - LIVE.LOVE.A$AP
94

some amazing stuff, rocky absolutely smashes it on his first project, the production here can be really magical sometimes, the whole cloudy aesthetic is fantastic, rockys rapping here is really solid and matches the beats, the features all work quite well, it just manages to be really fun throught the entire thing, dont really have much else to say other than this is really nice and atmospheric

Kanye West - BULLY
48

well, i guess its not the worst thing ever but this is still painfully mediocre, sure some songs are decent and have solid production and good rapping/singing from kanye that also have some cool chipmunk soul influences to them, but then theres also alot of mediocrity and some songs that are just ass, alot of it just feels weirdly empty, its not agonizing but just pretty damn boring overall

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
72

i mean its just a fun little mixtape, its definetly not anything outstanding but its just consistantly decent, denzels rapping still hits, the production isnt anything that special but gets the job done as some solid trap, the features can be a bit hit or miss but i didnt really dislike any of them, its just a little short fun listen, i do get how this can be seen as boring, but i overall just like it

Nas - Light-Years
70

its the most 7/10 album to ever exist, nas really hasnt done anything particularly new with his music, and again its not like thats a bad thing, the formula that hes got can still be good as shown here, the beats are pretty standard, sometimes a bit empty but overall pretty groovy, nas rapping hasnt really changed all that much throught the past 30 years, its still solid, the album is overall just decent

Nas - Magic 3
72

its the most average nas album to date, like im already running out of things to say about his albums with his formula always being the same but this one is especially just regular, and thats not a bad thing, i still like this album, but its just getting a bit repetetive, now sure, every song here is good, but thats it, theyre just good, nothing really that special, anyways this album is just pretty good

Nas - Magic 2
80

just like magic 1, its just a nice little short listen, but its slightly improved on this time, nas rapping is still managing to hit hard at points, the production is nice and jazzy while also having some trap in it, the album isnt anything like that special but works well as a collection of some good songs, nas has been at this for 30 years now, its fine for him to make simpler albums like these

Nas - King's Disease III
92

yeah im gonna best honest, this is his best album in his entire discography alongside illmatic, an absolute jump from kd 1 and 2, nas' rapping is at its finest, with some of this slickest flows yet, the production is really cool, the samples are all really nice and almost chipmunk soul like, and the instrumentals themselves are nice and jazzy yet also hard hitting, and its really consistant with its greatness

Nas - Magic
74

like nas' most regular album yet, like i genuinely have almost nothing to say about, its just a short little nice listen, the formula is still the exact same as it has been for the past almost 30 years at this point, but i guess he still just manages to pull it off well enough, theres nothing special about this album, and i dont mean it in a bad way, its still just a nice regular album to chill through

bottom 3: 3. Hollywood Gangsta, 2. ... read more

Nas - King’s Disease II
82

an overall imporvement from the first kings disease, just having nas rap better and the production is more smooth and jazzy, now to this day he hasnt really changed up on his formula at all, and its not like anything super special but its pretty great for what it is, nothing really that complicated, its kinda the same as kings disease 1, what you see is what you get, its solid
top 3: 3. Moments, 2. Nas is Good, 1. No Phony Love
bottom 3: 3. Count Me In, 2. EPMD 2, 1. YKTV

Nas - King's Disease
75

what you see is what you get, its probably the most standard nas album of them all, just some good beats and good raps from the man, the features are mostly decent, there wasnt anything outstanding but also definetly nothing bad, its just a quick inoffensive listen, it doesnt bring really anything new to the table, it really just is
top 3: 3. Ultra Black, 2. Spicy, 1. All Bad
bottom 3: 3. The Definition, 2. 27 Summers, 1. Til The War Is Won

Nas - NASIR
70

and now another nas album thats just decent and thats all, i dont really know what to say, there arent any outstanding tracks but almost all of them are good enough, and its just a short listen, its really inoffensive, its good and thats all i guess
top 3: 3. White Label, 2. everything, 1. Adam and Eve
bottom 3: 3. Bonjour, 2. Cops Shot the Kid, 1. Not For Radio

Nas - Life is Good
88

yeah im gonna be honest, this is nas at some of his best, an absolute breath of fresh air after the last few just decent albums, like every beat here is either hits really hard or is smooth and jazzy, nas' rapping is on point, the features are great, its just all really good, its not really all amazing, but its really consistantly great, and its just impressive how hes able to do this 11 albums in
top 3: 3. No Introduction, 2. Cherry Wine, 1. World's an Addiction
bottom 3: 3. Accident ... read more

Nas & Damian Marley - Distant Relatives
70

an interesting deviation for nas a more reggae themed album which is a bit hit and miss, nas' rapping is still good as usual, damian marley's voice can be a bit annoying sometimes but can still work other times, its got some pretty cool and funky beats here and there, the problem there alot of these tracks dont stand out really, and some really dont have anything interesting going on in them, the album is decent
top 3: 3. Africa Must Wake Up, 2. As We Enter, 1. Tribes at War
bottom 3: ... read more

Nas - Untitled
65

yet another nas album thats just decent, im starting to run out of things to say cus they really arent that different from eachother, i guess this one is a bit more political or something, but its got the same things as all of his previous projects, just good rapping and decent beats with some solid features, it can get boring but there are still quite a few good songs here
top 3: 3. N.I.*.*.E.R. (The Slave and the Master), 2. Hero, 1. You Can't Stop Us Now
bottom 3: 3. We're Not ... read more

Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead
75

just another good nas album, good beats and good rapping from him, almost having sometimes chipmunk soul to it, all the features were pretty great, it doesnt sound that different from any other nas album but its still a bit unique, the whole "hip hop is dead" thing repeated again and again feels a bit corny sometimes, but the music itself is rather solid, decent all around
top 3: 3. Hip Hop is Dead, 2. Still Dreaming, 1. Black Republican
bottom 3: 3. Play on Playa, 2. Hope, 1. Who ... read more

Nas - Street's Disciple
66

1.5 hours of kinda just decent nas songs, none of them are really that special but i wouldnt particularly call any of them bad, the formula isnt changed really again, excepy the boom bapness of it is definetly not so much there anymore, more of just regular hardcore hiphop, and overall i dont got much to say, alot of these songs just sound pretty similar to eachother, its decent
top 3: 3. Street's Disciple, 2. Nazareth Savage, 1. War
bottom 3: 3. Virgo, 2. You Know My Style, 1. U.B.R.

Nas - The Lost Tapes
84

i dont have alot to say for this, just a really solid compilation of nas songs, once again its not anything different from any of this other projects so far, it once again just has great rapping from nas and great hip hop beats, i am really starting to run out of things to say, i guess this one is a bit more melancholic, overall just a great collection of songs
top 3: 3. Nothing Lasts Forever, 2. Doo Rags, 1. Black Zombie
bottom 3: 3. Blaze a 50, 2. Poppa Was a Playa, 1. Everybody's Crazy

Nas - God's Son
80

and another good nas album, its a bit different with how more rnb focused some of these songs are, theres still definetly quite a few classic rap tracks but it still feels different, the lyrics are sometimes emotional, sometimes just pretty fun, his rapping is good as usual, the production is great, the features are really nice, more singers this time which sound nice too, not like that amazing but its good
top 3: 3. Dance, 2. Get Down, 1. Heaven
bottom 3: 3. Book of Rhymes, 2. Mastermind, 1. ... read more

Nas - Stillmatic
87

nas finally locks in again and provves how good of a rapper he is, having some great lyricism and flows on these tracks, the production is really cool, smooth and hard hitting beats all around, maybe the albums is a bit bloated and may not stand out so much but its still just overall a really great classic rap album, there aint much else to say here, i just quite like it
