Undoubtably a great record, and one that is so unbelievably nostalgic for me, especially Imagine and How Do You Sleep? This is one of those records that was very formative to me at the beginning of my music listening journey. It was very nice to listen to Imagine again after a solid eight months, at least, without spinning it; I was reminded why I had latched onto it so hard a year and a half ago. Of course, I had to play it today because today is 45 years since John Lennon was assassinated so ... read more
really great stuff. i like their recent singles a lot more than imaginal disk, which i have yet to listen to fully bc when i did originally i stopped halfway through bc i had a headache (not bc of the music) so maybe that’s why im bigger on these
I really like the electric version of Atlantic City here. It feels slightly slower (it might actually be or maybe I'm just imaging things), and along with the full band, it make seems heavier than the Nebraska version, which I attribute to being quite light. It's a really nice change that i see myself coming back to.
these two songs are better than heavy metal and i gave heavy metal a 100 so there really is only one rating i can give it. please release more solo stuff cameron it’s like oxygen to me
I get what he was trying to do with this project, that being trying to replicate his shows in album form, but it’s just so long. I really just don’t care about most of the disc 2 tracks, with a few outstanding exceptions. I bet I could really enjoy them if I go out of my way to listen to them, but I don’t really feel like it. This could easily be the best (maybe?) Bruce album if it was condensed into one disc, but it’s also great because of its bloat.

I Race through Mount Pleasant every time I go to my cabin that's not really a cabin it's just another house that I don't call my home.
one time i needed gas and the meijer gas station had gas for like 2.60 so that was cool i guess
I feel like the only way to describe this record is calling it “sophisticated band kid music” but it also feels insulting.
I absolutely love this record and think it's basically perfect, but it feels like something is missing for some reason but I have no idea what that something is, so that's why I didn't give it an 100 even though it deserves it 100%
A whole hour of some of the most high-octane rock music you’ll ever hear. How can you not like it?
somehow on my first listen i didn’t like it
Don’t be like me on my first listen.
London Calling so unbelievably fantastic and charming in terms of the performance of each song. It’s a collection of songs that take serious political subjects, and turn them into some of the most catchy, and silly tunes you’ve ever heard in only the most punk-rock fashion imaginable. ... read more
okay so maybe i should listen to imaginal disk because this changed my life
I listened to this earlier today in full for like the third or fourth time since I first listened to it a couple months ago, and damn it just gets better exponentially after every listen. Yes, it's a bit long for me, but it goes by so quickly; about halfway through I was starting to get bored, but surprisingly, it managed to recapture my attention not too shortly after. I really have to listen to more Sufjan because this is all I've heard from him.
Also I've had Jacksonville ... read more
Right now, I’m revisiting Billy Joel’s material after watching the And So It Goes documentary. For a while, I wrote off a lot of his work as I was getting into more interesting (maybe that’s not the right word to use but idc) music, just chalking up my enjoyment to being very new to music, and essentially selecting Billy to be my gateway into this new world. Coming back to it, however, I remember why I fell in love with him as an artist in the first place. At this point, I can ... read more
