A fun and consistently nice album. I loved "Girl with Fish" and I feel like this is a bit of a step down from that album as a handful of the tracks are forgettable. I do think that "Upside Down" and "Shopping" are wonderfully catchy and captivating. I hope they are able to find some new sounds in the future because this feels like it a bit of a safer album.
A nicely slow, reverby, and vibey album that I can see myself coming back to on car rides and late nights
Very smooth and silky production. I think Michael's vocals are extremely impressive but maybe overly enthusiastic in parts of tracks that are more laid back and repetitive. I'm not against the longer run times because of how nice the production is. I thought the back and forth between Michael and Paul was a nice moment and there's many other great hooks and highlights on here. The guitar tones throughout are very very nice.
