The first half of the album is so bland when it comes to sounds and so risky/cringe when it comes to lyrics.

it's understandable the motives of the people who sticks with this stage and can't move on to the next stages, it's a very deep record and a it's hard to listen and deal with the idea of this album, so heartbreaking in all senses.
This is one of the few times i felt how the artist is breaking down on his own album, it made me feel like i'm dying soon. 10/10 would listen again.
I regret starting to listen to Sufjan's discography with this one.
This was a very nostalgic experience, having to listen this record once again with more deep and mature vocals from Taylor really gave it great emotions to me. Some of the vault tracks are even better than some of the regular tracks.
