I just think a glorious, happy sound like this is what the world needs right now, it hits.
Chills. If you want an album to validate your general sadness, this is it.
How original, another white dude whining about getting canceled in 2024. I get that it's all intentional and a joke but it didn't make me laugh and this whole discourse is getting old to me, maybe I just don't get it but it comes off like he's trying to be Tom MacDonald. You're better than that. Do better.
Yeah this was boring... I'll always love their early work and every album since Viva la Vida has had at least one song that I keep coming back to but for the first time, not this one. Maybe I missed something in the lyrics but but definitely not my favorite. This is AI Coldplay.
The front half is so bright and fun and catchy, I don't blame myself one bit for being into this back in HS before I discovered The Postal Service. It does start to lose me once it slows down and gets introspective after track 6 but Fireflies remains a classic.
I dig the lo-fi sound and think it complements the stories being told here. Really creates an atmosphere.
An album that I listen to to remind me that the things I'm sometimes feeling are a largely universal part of human existence and I'm not experiencing them alone. Timeless.
Just came here to say that yeah this album is really bad but I feel like she's getting an undue amount of hate (based on my YouTube suggested videos) and she's basically just a kid for christ's sake, maybe give her room to grow and find her voice and see what happens? What would you do if you blew up overnight? Radiohead's first album was a generic boy band pop tour. Just my two cents.
Just didn't get the feeling on this that I'd have that much fun at the sort of party that this album seems to be creating. Just didn't take me to my favorite sort of place. Fall In Love is a great song though.
Not sure why I even bothered but... blah
Midnight trip to vegas is a decent song, I'll give it that
A nonstop party! Tight album with fantastic switch-ups in pacing throughout, every song having some sort of message and this is really just the best that pop music has to offer in my extremely humble opinion. Really wish I'd have bothered listening when the world was still shut down from covid, would have made me a little less sad at that time but what can ya do.
This album is definitely telling me something even though I'm not quite sure what. So many moments that just send chills down my spine.
