First half of this has some bangers but the second half all sounds the same tbh
Man I love this album, so many bangers on it. I saw PtV live recently and they honestly sound almost identical to the studio its crazy, felt awesome to hear some of these live.
My AOTY, but also makes me sad, but I also can't stop listening!
An almost ambient sounding album at times from The Cure, not what I was expecting but it was a vibe. Big fan.
I've listened to this in full once or twice before and every time I appreciate it more. Truly a phenomenal album.
I did like this but I think not having that central story that TPAB or GKMC had made me not as focused on this. Some really great tracks here, especially DNA, PRIDE, and DUCKWORTH but I just wasn't feeling this as much as those two previous albums.
Good the whole way through but definitely is way better in the second half, so many bangers.
I really like the concept of this album, showing Kendrick's growing up story. Lyrics were great and so much of it was just a bop. It's below TPAB for me but still pretty great.
Really good, a lot more chill than expected. I'm trying to listen to more hip hop and this was where I wanted to start.
So I listened to this on a complete whim. I knew absolutely nothing about this album until about an hour ago other than I had seen it pop up on a lot of lists online and that the cover really unsettled me for some reason. I read a few reviews here and they said this was an unsettling album so I was intrigued.
Yea wtf this is really great, I saw a lot of comments saying how this album is absolutely insane for teenagers in 1991 to make and I have to agree. And yes its unsettling too, I ... read more
This is a bop, not something I can see myself listening to much but I enjoyed it. I think Fox makes some great stuff I can be in the mood for sometimes.
Beautifully intimate is the only way I can describe this masterpiece of music production.
I think I slightly prefer Hybrid Theory but Meteora is still great, not much else to say. Breaking the Habit music video goes hard there you go
Imagine combining metal and hip hop in your debut and coming out with an album full of bangers. A classic for a reason and I will stand by With You being a top 5 song here, needs more respect.
A nice indie rock album, the first half is definitely better. Evil Friends and Modern Jesus are bangers and the songs near it are really solid as well. No bad songs but towards the end they definitely didn't feel as exciting (except Purple Yellow Red and Blue, which is really good)
