While there does seem to be a lul in excitement towards the end of the tracklist this is still one of my favorite albums to listen to. Both Woods and E L U C I D have some truly insane flows and lyricism here. The production is unique and almost dirty sounding which I think sets an excellent backdrop for some of the standout performances that each emcee brings to this album. The song 'Pommelhorse' is a great example of this, E L U C I D's verse is instantly captivating and the ... read more
Just gonna spew out my thoughts on this one: I really like the duets on the songs Salem Sisters and Mary, I love the saxophone throughout its so memorable and adds a lot. I love the story that some tracks have, like Two Horses. That song, like others on the album has a great 'explosive' moment near the end that I really enjoy in these songs. The songs evolve and change throughout their runtime in a really interesting way (ex: Socks). The lyricism is also very unique I especially love ... read more
Not much to say but the vocals are so so good as always. The production complements them very well and while some tracks are more memorable than others I find this to be quite a beautiful album.

Peggy and Danny here have reached a level of perfection that I couldn't have imagined, the minute details in every track, the chaotic flows, samples, and lyrics that still manage to come together to form a cohesive aesthetic. It's all perfect to me, I've really come to love this album and I think it's such a victory lap for both of them. Fuck.
There's something subtly exceptional about this album, and while I can't quite fully describe what that is, I can say that this project does have incredible, dark, production as well as some of my favorite lyrics as of late. Armand Hammer created a world here with matching music that keeps me coming back again and again.
Definitely a disappointing final album from a group that had so much going for it. While there are enjoyable moments on the album, on almost every single song there is at least one moment I can point to that displays the lack of effort or heart put into this final project. Songs I love for the most part like MAN ON THE MOON are tarnished by strange decisions like the minute and a half of largely unchanging instrumental at the end. I believe it was mentioned on the final episode of "I miss ... read more
