I really “get” Vampire Weekend. I feel like the prep boy persona is actually kinda hard, that whole prep boy gangster shit is lowkey a fire statement. Honestly, fucking awful. While i’m pretty solid on the vocals and the rapping is actually decent, I do not care for the production on this record at all and something about BackxWash’s delivery does nothing for me.
