hmmmmm. this album is as scattered as the artists who recorded this. depps voice is a melancholy grovel while becks guitar work is something that resembles a pink floyd work. although the cover of the beach boys songs makes up for its bleeding originals it's still a pretty decent album as a whole.
These aren't just songs that your parents jam out to, this is gold! jimmy's greatest hits are all compiled into one for 40 minutes of nostalgic island life living. good job jimmy!!
this holds a special place in my heart because it was the first record i ever bought. goodbye yellow brick road is all you need, haunting melodies, rock n' roll, ballads, and everything you'd expect elton to be.
wow. the absolute magnum opus of pink floyd. their voices and melodies wash over you like a dosage of medicine you crave. this is what it's like to ascend into heaven. protip! whenever i'm sick i play this while taking a bath and it has yet to fail to cure me. it's magical, to say the least.
