Embracing her messy party girl persona, acknowledging the limits of that persona, leaning into it anyway, over the top of some really focused, directed, and sharp music? Oh, she's taking it.
A noticeable expansion in depth and diversity of sound compared to her debut. Let down a little by the slightly bloated, meandering tracklist but a great album nonetheless.
