Killer Mike - MICHAEL
78

For as much as MICHAEL is an empowering victory lap, it also finds organic pockets to detail unique and enthralling stories about Killer Mike’s journey. I’ve seen some people say that this record can get bland at times, but i disagree. While there are moments that don’t scream and shout for your attention, there’s nothing here that is worth skipping.

Chance the Rapper - The Big Day

I met kanye west, I'm never gonna fail,,,,, ,yikes
hope this was a wake-up call for him,

gave it a 5 cuz the diddy kong line makes me laugh, besides that it hurts my fucking head how directionless

Claud - Super Monster

wow this is really enjoyable. great vibe. good variety. lyrics felt honest and creative. good good good

the production sounds clean and classic to the indie bedroom genre, but what really stands out is the flow of old concepts with new perspectives. unique but accessible!!!! very impressed by this projcet.

Django Django - Glowing in the Dark

this is just disorienting. just throwing to see what sticks i guess.

slowthai - TYRON

im having fun with this one. enjoying the b side more than the first half because the last leg feels a little bit more colorful and creative, and moves a little bit more throughout ideas. I see people talking about how the beats are a little generic, but that wasn't a huge issue for me, slowtai's charisma and flows kept me entertained. love the cover art. I can tell that this record is only gonna grow on me. excited for what slowtai's creative trajectory will look like.

y’all tripping this album sounds fantastic, and the song writing is honest and creative, (some of the best choruses of the summer of 2020 for sure.)

the surf rock vibes in this record are unmatched

had a lot of fun summer memories with this record in the backgroud. a classic for me for sure

Mac Miller - Circles

The Obsessives - The Obsessives
100

With ear-worm melody and harmonies, genuine, weirdly-relatable lyrical content, topped with great balanced production, The Obsessives created a masterpiece. The best self-titled record since The Clash.

Austin Weber - Love Songs for No One

very enjoyable listen, austin is in a lane of in own embracing the amateur bedroom rock sound. good album.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

blame game is the only reason it’s not a 100, fr

Weezer - OK Human
