This is a self-review! This is my own album, or rather, EP. Specifically, it’s my first ever EP. Like, REALLY my first ever - there’s no theme or cohesive plan here, it’s literally just the first 7 (minus the first one, WH1T3N01S3, which I don’t think I have saved anywhere unfortunately) pieces of music I’ve EVER made. Hell, ButcherThemeA and TheyHunger (and maybe DeepSeaAngel? I ... read more

Genuinely shocking I haven't heard this yet since I've heard the entire rest of RMD’s discography except Maigre, and Brame is a top 5 album oat for me but whatever. Idk, I just wanted to give this a proper listen and review since I knew I was gonna love it, and I just never found the time and it fell on the back burner. Happens a lot, this is just a particularly egregious example.
SO! How was the album? Well, not as ... read more

Pretty fucking fire actually. Quite inconsistent, sure, but I mean, it's more of a collection of tracks than a self-contained release anyway.
“If Music is a Woman, I treat Her like a Whore”, “Because I CAN” and “Ear Burner” were the best tracks. The more traditionally musical tracks on the EP were still cool, but had some issues here and there and we're frankly just a little bit ... read more

Oh FUCK yeah. Such an insanely sick sound. In my review of the first EP (technically 2nd but I can't find the first), I said that with a sound as engaging and constantly changing as this, it really needed more variety to KEEP it interesting. Here we don't really add too much variety per se, so much as we relegate that cool choppy, almost downright breakcore-y at times, sound to the edges. It's ... read more

Jerky chopped up blasts of blaring harsh noise (but still just barely recognisably guitar, at least at times), plus some rhythmic riffing (still absolutely distorted to hell and back), plus some more extended VERY recognisably guitar blaring bits, and then all with similarly choppy blasts of insane drum programmed blasts inserted over it and a nice layer of typical gorenoise vocals that provide a bit ... read more

All in all, uh I mean it was cool i guess :P
Nah okay so what we have here is some very nice drums (woo! Gorenoise w/ real drums!), though I have to say, the level of coolness of said drums is way oversold by the way people talk about this thing. Like, they’re good, but they’re not THAT good, except maybe a few parts - because, yeah, there are actually some S E X Y drum parts in here. That’s not the problem ... read more
