I'm going to be completely honest, I am NOT a fan of super fast pacing in instrumentation where you just spam a bunch of fancy chords and call it a day. Luckily, this album was mostly devoid of that and on the contrary offered an INSANE amount of absolutely beautiful instrumentation that didn't come off as pretentious at all. Also like oh my god... this man's VOICE?!?!?!? LIKEEE?!?!?! That plus the instrumentation really had me sold. W album.

Finally listened to BRAT, and safe to say it was actually pretty solid. Had my expectations very low and ended up liking it more than I was anticipating.

Wow. I don't even really know what to say, First real industrial/noise project I fully listened through and it did not disappoint at all. In terms what of I liked and disliked there's nothing I can even really point to besides just that the project was impressive.

As with all concept albums, I go in blind and try to figure it out myself and only do research afterwards. And I mean wow this was an amazing project. The skits, the story, the production I just thought it was amazing. Incredible stuff.

I really like the 'euthanasia' idea that was introduced and I sorta wish more was done with that with developing a concept to last the rest of the project. The good parts were strong, but I feel like the album as a whole was sorta brought down by its weaker moments. Still an interesting project nonetheless, I liked it.

It just sounds incredible, like words genuinely cannot describe this thing. Beautifully mixed with god tier instrumentation. I look forward to getting into the rest of Flylo's discography.

Honorable Mentions: all, except Ready err Not
Great album! Good word-building, good features, and obviously great rapping and singing performances from Smino.
Favorites: Settle Down, Lee & Lovie
If you hear the first few tracks, you’ve heard the album. That’s the problem for me I feel like it just drags on, the concept is right in your face the entire time and the songs often feel formulaic.
Favorites: Not Allowed, For You
This really surprised me. Wow.
