jack is the only man i trust to do corny right. he just sings what he feels, as personal, weird, or out of place it may seem, and i respect that. the record is vulnerable and introspective while also aware of the current realities in a way that most pop music isnt. highlights are you and forever (the amazing buildup!), dirty wedding dress (im like What The Fuck), take you out tonight (everybody loves to show off) and upstairs at els (fantastic closer for this album). one downside - not nearly ... read more

i don't mind gentle, subdued, I'm-up-at-3-am-contemplating-life-type music, actually. but i dont think that this attempt at it worked the way it could have. harry's vague writing compliments some songs (The Waiting Game, American Girls) and misses the mark entirely on others (Ready, Steady, Go!, Season 2 Weight Loss). almost all of the songs sounds like sketches and im not sure whether that was the intention

if Dios Es Un Stalker had a third chorus i would have given this album a 100
