Sensational follow up, more approachable and listenable than nation of millions and has the legendary track fight the power, I think it suffers a little by having such a great predecessor as the issues Chuck D stands on were already perfectly expressed in their previous album, however it still stands as a fantastic beacon of protest and I think it being made after NWAs historic rise makes it really interesting as Chuck clearly acknowledges the groups influence

Ahead of its time, punchline after punchline strung together more effortlessly than any other rapper I can think of, most songs have at least 2 moments where you're like fuck how do you think of that, it's raw it's aggressive it's real it's swag as shit dead homies on god on god

Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert

Intimate and personal as is to expect from Little Simz, the storytelling has an almost slick rick quality where it flows so effortlessly you forget it's a piece of music and not just someone telling you something. The afro influences in the beats with the grand orchestral interludes and openings make it a one of a kind listen, overall banger

Surreal, unique and experimental, the tracks flow beautifully into each other and change tones suddenly as they evolve but not in a way that feels jarring, I don't know if there's any tracks I'll be revisiting and bumping all the time I like it more as a collective experience but it's still adeptly made
