Weird, pillowy cacophony of dreamy soundscapes with robot like vocals. Why not? Kind of a mess. Its not good but it might be on purpose. Is this satirical?
Algorithmically generated sounds based on spacial constructs? I don't really understand the process but sounds like a cool idea. Very cool art in booklet. You can listen/read about the project on Bandcamp. Learning about weird projects like this is the reason I like looking at AOTY's list of releases.
Pure creativity. Not following any formulas. When it got to the raps there was substance. Questioning, honest and funny. Taking cues from hyper pop, vapor wave and drum and bass but pretty original. These songs will give you a sampling of the different moods and modes on this album; Jack, Queen and King/ So Help the Gods/ Pointless Edgy Rap/ Memento Moron. Great job, lad. Don't do drugs and if you start getting attention and cash don't let it change your head.
U.K. journalists have compared this Argentine songwriter to Bowie and Lennon. I would go more contemporary with my comparisons; Jarvis Cocker , Cox & Bankston of the Exploding Hearts or Miles Kurosky. Amazing songwriters though, I wish Juan Pablo Mazzola would do as they have done and find confidence in his inability to sing. I feel old for asking this but, why don't indie artists ever TRY to sing anymore? I don't care if you can't sing, just make me believe it. TRY
