Empress Of's latest album presents a blend of exquisite pop moments intertwined with Lorelay's familiar vocal prowess. However, the album's strong inclination towards embracing the Latin music trend may not necessarily work in its favor. Despite this, more than half of the tracks stand out and are likely to find a lasting place on listeners' favorite playlists. A Bloody Morning is the song that is most reminiscent of previous work, very near to "In Conflict" but still has a wider structure and range of emotions. The whole album falls flat though, having no outstanding emotional peaks or lows, but still is very very enjoyable.
