Beautiful melodies, smart lyrics. This is a good debut although there is some personality to proof since songs tend to turn a little generic as the album goes by. Vertigo, Requiem, Rescue and Inside Out are the best of the album. We'll have to wait for a sophomore to see if he can outgrow himself.
I had always thought the term "Mixtape" is used to justify effortless records in some cases. This mixtape is proof of it, although the songs are good, the production and arrangements sound cheap and the bubbly synths between the songs can get annoying by the end of the mixtape.
The biggest mistake of this album is being so long, maybe if Jonna would have cut some tracks off, the sound would be more consistent and the experience more pleasurable. The Collaborations are great though, specially the one with TR/ST, though honestly it is more of a TR/ST song that ionna's.
Sir, produced by Michale Stripe (?) documents a gay and lusty journey through what seems to be the gay scene of Brazil. It's not as energetic as previous releases, but it's a good album to get ready for a gay night out. Standouts: TopBrazil, Togetherness & I need love.
