I didn't think I would like this one as much as twenty twenty based off the singles but they grew on me a lot, and I was so pleasantly surprised. So unique and Djo have really found their sound.

Nostalgia is holding it back from topping its predecessors, but altogether still perfection.

Pros: I feel like a boss ass queer when I listen to this and I wanna get fuckin DOWN.
Cons: it's a bit too long and some of it screams too much 80s mixing

Um, I feel out of touch... just kinda sounds like Nick Cave crying on a few tracks for an hour... (yeah i get it, his kid died) just not my kind of album. Also what the actual fuck was Night Raid, unbearable to listen to.

Fav Song: Hollywood (Genuinely this track alone made this go from a 25 to a 35)

This isn't music, this is a sonic world

(would be a 95 if strictly speaking for quality I just feel like it doesn't quite fit music I actually return to enough or would casually listen to)

I've never connected with any album more than I have with Thank Your Lucky Stars. Noisy, Sad, and Profound.

It's not literally perfect, but it is to me.

Isolated, yet all encompassing. Grandiose and minimal. Lisa has my heart with this one at every step.

Got a lot to say on this one so let's go track by track.

Levitation: It's so fucking gorgeous, and I love this song to death. I also love that the ending of this song is the reverse of the ending of Irene from Bloom, so specific but just a great homage to previous work. The opposite lyrics are just the cherry on top ("there's a place I want to take you" to Irene's "It's a strange paradise").
