the album that got me into Linkin Park. This album is jam packed with classic nu-metal bangers, this is their most rap-heavy work by far while also being heavier than Hybrid Theory rock-wise as well. This album holds deep emotional connection to me and many others.
Across The Line and No Roads Left, despite not fitting the main theme of the album, manage to hold up on their own as two solid tracks, Given Up Third Encore Session was alright, and we'll just pretend What I've Done Distorted Remix doesn't exist
This is my second favorite Linkin Park album and for deep emotional reason, they team up with Rick Rubin to start this masterpiece trilogy from Minutes To Midnight to living Things. This is my favorite of the three. Their lyrics are something many can connect to and their views on the problems in the world still stand to their day I'm 2024, they were ahead of their time.
I love this albums concept of being scared of something you cannot control and how political threats not matter how serious manage to cloud us all to an extent. The concept of nuclear war on here is a fun thing to dive into. The verses are good, the beats are fun, the lyrics deep and meaningful. Definitely worth the praise.
