As I expected, this proved to be a beautiful and tranquil soundscape
This sounds like trying to watch TV with your uncle on a really old antenna TV that produces constant static, 10/10!!!!!
Now listen alright I know about that copypasta and I am not trying to be aligned with it alright? There's just something so entrancing and beautiful about this piano, and I will say as a fact that throughout most of my listening experience, I actually was reminded of Phil Elverum, and I imagined him singing over this. I don't know what triggered this, but I am happy that it happened.
Main takeaway from this is that everyone should listen to this no matter the length, trust me while ... read more
DAYUM. See I thought this would just be another ambient 4 hour album, but no this is amazing. I need to hear more of this, the sooner the better. Also someone needs to give this more attention so that a proper tracklist can be added.
Don't look at the score of that critic review because this was genuinely magnificent, and easily my favourite project of theirs I've heard so far (I've only heard two as of now but that might change eventually hopefully).
Edit: After a couple more listens, I can say that the critic was absolutely deluded because this piece is divine.
Woohoohoo this was a long one, and it was worth every minute. Please check this out because trust me when I say the music sounds like the cover, I MEAN IT.
This was... depressing. I feel like looking for a description of this album wouldn't do justice the depth of sadness and effort that has been put into it's sound, so my best advice really is to just listen to it for yourself (with the lyrics) and let's see what you think.
Well wasn't this a beauty? The time passed by very quick, and I would love to add it in my rotation despite the long length of songs.
There was never a moment where I didn't feel my soul lifting.
I think those listed genres downplay the true beauty of the album, because it really is very good.
Never knew this counted as Prog Metal, not to mention another W for the Touhou community.
Well we definitely need to get this some more attention dayum this was good.
I think I need to listen to some more Anna von Hausswolff because this was beautiful.
This was quite good, and I will say that it did surprise me in it's quality.
