Not very good, but after 55 years I've still yet to hear anything as definitively anti-music quite like Trout Mask Replica, it perfected shitpost music all the way back in '69 and for that I have to respect it to some extent

I hate that this is catchy because a song like this has no right to be that catchy
Probably one of the most unique outsider music projects out there, mostly because of the sheer diaspora of musical styles yet an absolute lack of vision that creates a constant whiplash between tracks that is hard to describe. Not of all of it is very good, the album does unfortunately peak with its first track, but as a collective experience it is hard to forget.
genuinely great material here sandwich between meme stuff that ranges anywhere from "teehee that's silly" to very unfunny, if you want a mixed bag and a time machine back to 2016 then this is the album for you!
In many ways, I think the only person I can earnestly compare Acidgvrl to is Viper, in the sense that once they achieved even a modicum of success they stopped giving a shit and that 90% of their discography eventually became drivel and occasionally, through sheer probability, they put out something decent (which this isn't really, even by Acidgvrl standards), I think the most interest I really have from here on out is to see what happens when the streams dry up
I will be considering this the real Act 5 (+5 points for no half-hour long track)

Genuinely almost impossible to listen to at most points, and of the tracks longer than like 5 minutes are hard to get through and I just couldn't stomach the fucking THIRTY MINUTE LONG TRACK HOLY SHIT
At it's best there's a couple decent tracks but it's still undeniably the worst Arthurium project
