After a surprisingly long hiatus (at least for Arthurium) and a handful of singles, it feels weird to finally see a new mixtape from him. Knowing that he's finally invested in a real DAW and has started investing more time into his music, though this album still shares a lot of the issues from his ACT X series, namely being pretty long and repetitive, it's still a move in the right direction, since a lot more of what on offer here is original and not as reliant on samples, it's ... read more
I think this is the release that finally made me realize why exactly Mori doesn't strike higher than like a 6/10 in my books, though this is probably some of the best of her discography, a lot of it is held back by her limited vocal range, and though to some extent her lyrical skills have moved past being exclusively cringeworthy, this sort of definitively pins her down as someone that's just not for me
I don't care how many times you reissue it, it doesn't make the album good
I wish Kanye never got fucked up on nitrous so the rest of the album could've been like take off your dress
I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL MYSELF RAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
For better and for worse, this hardly feels like a Ye album at all, for what it's worth though Ty actually puts in a solid performance in most of the tracks but the quality of mixing and production varies from complete to feeling like demos or leaks, it's kinda better than Vultures I but half of the album still ain't very good
quick edit: Kanye might've used AI on some of these tracks and if this is true it's kinda embarrassing lol
Serbia sure does know their shit when it comes to nationalist propaganda music, not the best turbofolk album I've ever heard but it really go hard every once in a while
You know a man's talented when he can do a censored cover of WAP and not make it the most embarrassing cringey thing ever
Not as embarrassingly bad as a lot of his output over the last 10 years but it's very apparent that Em ran out of juice ages ago, the features help add the tiniest bit of spice, the skits are bad enough to the point of being unbearable, but otherwise it all culminates as an incredibly mediocre release
Everything that was arranged by Daddy Derek and not an actual musician is hilariously incompetent down to how it was uploaded on Spotify, the artist profile that uploaded the album is "Cool Cat Boogies", some of the songs are looped over just to hit a 40+ minute runtime, beats overlapping each other, and singing completely antithetical to the concept of flow, it's something everyone needs to experience
