For some reason I get Seth MacFarlane vibes from this I don't really know how else to describe it
I've always been curious about American Tapes as a label because of the batshit insane way they package tapes, and not a lot of rips of their work exists online (which to be fair, there's a looooot of it), so at first it was pretty cool to find a rip of this on YouTube, but you have no idea how disappointed I was by this being a pretty boring noise/drone album
They might not have made a good album in almost 25 years and are drowning in sexual abuse allegations, but they sure are trucking on, ain't they!
I'm not sure if I could honestly get through the whole thing, it's honestly a pretty good power noise album but I'd sooner kill myself than do the whole uncut 10 hours in one sitting, in a sense it reminds me a lot of Everywhere at the End of Time, where the music itself certainly isn't bad, but it obviously serves the purpose of being an art project better than it does music

Honestly once you get past the first track (which is honestly a bit of a hard listen), you get a pretty solid harsh noise-drone album, the integration of spoken word throughout the album is probably what makes the album the most for me because it really does provide enough dynamic backing to break up the rest of the instrumentals
Best track: You See What I'm Saying
Worst track: Genova

honestly disc 1 isn't terrible, but the dropoff in quality becomes apparent in the next two discs and you realize half of the guys in spider gang actually kinda sound like shit
12 writers and 6 producers, yet somehow none of them capable of putting together anything approaching a good song, or even something tolerable, this is probably the worst album of the year
Production is the most boring slime possible, and Jax's singing is so unemphatic that it practically puts me to sleep, the fact that there's an interlude called hawk tuah tells you everything you need to know
here's a question for everyone: would you rather listen to the entire viper discography or the entire acidgvrl discography
any time Swift does a rap/hip-hop project it's always the most insane shit, thankfully this is some of his better hip-hop shit, the beats are actually pretty cool but what tops it off for me is how it's impossible to take any of the lyrics seriously
For an incelcore-adjacent LP, this is honestly a bit better than what the genre usually provides, there's some clearly competent guitar and drum work but it's almost entirely bogged down by some of the worst mixing I've ever heard, I'm quite fond of distortion in rock, but the poor mixing turns competent parts into a mushy pile
I heard they use this album as torture at Guantanamo, nobody's ever made it past 2 hours in...
