It’s been a long time since I’ve used this site, sorry.
I’ve been very busy and although my love for music has grown my desire to use this site has dwindled.
I bought a copy of this LP at Summerfest yesterday, listening to it a day later this goes so unbelievably hard! I love it!

Bert Jansch - Bert Jansch
NR

ALBUM: Bert Jansch
ARTIST: Bert Jansch
Bert Janschs self titled debut record. It’s a great folk album that reminds me a lot of early Bob Dylan, it’s nice and Bets voice is very sweet. The guitar on this album is superb, some of the best I’ve ever heard. It captures a beautiful moment not many folk albums do.

The Beatles - Rubber Soul

ALBUM: Rubber Soul
ARTIST: The Beatles
The Beatles at this point were already insanely popular. However starting with this album, they would become more than just famous musicians with popular hits, they started to quite literally change the music scene as a whole. While this album isn’t necessarily groundbreaking in terms of anything new. It’s the start of their greatness. This is an incredible album, and it’s also their most folky-ish record.

B.B. King - Live at the Regal
NR

ALBUM: Live at the Regal
ARTIST: B.B. King
I’ve decided randomly to pick up Dimery’s 1001 albums list once more. This time it’s another live record, a live blues record. This time it is B.B. King’s live show at the Regal. What makes this album special, is the way in which it is recorded. Instead of recording it just via the stage there were multiple recorders placed within the crowd, which helped capture the tremendous energy the performance provides. B.B King’s ... read more
