Gorillaz as a band are super nostalgic to me, and I hold them dearly to my heart. This album is nothing short of eclectic, mixing 90s trip hop, alternative rock, dub, art pop, hip hop and more, all genres which i adore. It mixes big hits (Clint Eastwood, Tomorrow Comes Today, Rock The House) with mostly instrumental trip hop/dub tracks (Double Bass, Slow Country). While I prefer the last singles, this song has a super cool grimey sort of trip hoppy feel to it and im all for it. Sounds super east coast rap inspired and it's awesome, good lyrics too. My most hyped album of the year im so excited for this to finally drop!!
