this album was very boring even though it's very fast paced. there's something about this specific genre that i personally do not like and that something just makes the music irritating somehow. the only decent songs were the interludes and track 4, the other were too much explosive but still sounded empty somehow.

this album is full of sweet melodies and catchy beats. but the most important part of this beautiful record are the lyrics and the insanely important message that lives in them. i seriously couldn't do anything else than pay attention to these meaningful lyrics, sang by solange's rich and soothing voice. she's one of a kind for real, her voice is so warm wow

this album has such a sophisticated and soothing sound everything sounds very smooth and groovy here. the melodies are satisfying to the ear, even if repetitive. the production is structured in a very unique but beautiful way. the lyics are repetitive too, and that sometimes is a flaw. but overall i was enjoying this listen all throughout it

blockstar was like the only decent song here... there's something wrong in the production or vocals in the other tracks and i cant even tell what but it makes them sound just bland and boring. tried to like this since i kinda liked blockstar.
