There are no words to describe the emotional void I felt after finishing this album. Radiohead once again prove themselves as masters of sound and emotion. In Rainbows is, without a doubt, one of the greatest albums of all time.
Without a doubt, this new album is an exceptional improvement compared to "Earth". You can't imagine the joy of listening to such a beautiful LP this year. Ed O'Brien simply shines on this record, and I absolutely loved it. I hope to see more EOB projects soon!
It's him, it's JPEGMAFIA, and he's back with what we all expected: "experimental rap". First point to address is, I love how he seamlessly loops the last track back into the first. Beyond that, his production remains undeniable, it’s exquisite, beautiful, and masterfully crafted. However, it’s becoming quite concerning that his lyricism and rapping ability seem to be slipping.
I'm sorry, but this is a pretty weak project, it lacks charisma and feels quite boring. I actually love the sound Drake is trying to experiment with here, but unfortunately, it just doesn't live up to the massive expectation of dropping three albums in a single night. A missed opportunity.
It’s a good album and it definitely feels solid, but it also has its weak moments. The project feels noticeably unpolished in certain areas. And Honestly, after listening to the whole thing, it feels like revisiting ''Honestly, Nevermind'', just slightly more refined. A decent addition to his catalog, but the execution could have been tighter.
