It's clear that Robyn is very ambitious with this album, with her experimentation with synth and trance is shown clearly through every song. However, something is still missing that makes me project a bit underwhelming to what it could have reached. Btw wish she released the album as a whole on the first place, the singles blend really well in the overall of the album coherence.
WORST GIRL IN AMERICA but BEST ALBUM she has ever released. This is exactly the dark electropop vibe that has been missing in the music for a long time. Slayyyter really brought out her Slayyyussy with this one and now I understand why she has been so cherished and excited for the album.
She did not lie, this music does contain hope. RAYE is definitely one of the most talented artists I have ever seen, seeing her wonderful vocals with her versatile capability to mix various genres together makes me so impressed every time she releases something. This album is no exception, there is a wide range of genres from r&b jazz, soul, and even classical crossver; all crafting an absolute breathtaking cinematic experience. RAYE please never stops making music
It's kinda ironic that she said she doesn't care about the haters yet she had a bunch of writers and producers spending a lot of time writing, producing, engineering and mastering a song just to state that she doesn't care about them. Btw after over 10 years in the industry it is impressive how she can change her body so quickly but her music is still stuck in 2014.
