I realized i had never written a review for this album despite posting a score, i thought i did but i was mistaken! Anyway. the mastering on this album isn't the greatest, but all that aside i do think this was a bit stronger of an album than their debut, even if some of the songs aren't my favorite. This was a really hard listen for me, but not in a BAD way, its quite an emotional roller coaster if you listened to the band before Keaton had passed away, the opener is an incredible masterpiece, and i love the rest of the songs too!
This was a great send off for the band to go their separate ways, and i hope wherever they go next in their musical journey goes well for them!

I'm surprised the critic rating on this album is so low! This was my first introduction to metalcore, with guitar hero 2 having Six on here, then i listened to the rest of this album and oh my god was teenage me really impressed, i still love this album and my favorite song is this calling :)
CLASSIC metalcore album, one of the best to come out of this era, need i even say more????? I'd just be parroting what others say!
HOWEVER i will edit this review to at least include some form of anything to add on, this album was one of the few that has stuck with me since i first heard it as a child with my dad playing it in the car, so perhaps I'm slightly blinded by nostalgia here, but i think its damn near perfect.
4 songs on this album are fillers i wouldn't even call songs (That Same Place and The Sky Behind The Rain, The Silence, Wave.), this automatically drops the rating so much because it just interrupts the listening experience. I thought we left filler songs when we went to CDs and didn't have to get what we paid for from tapes? A chunk of it was just listening to a girl in a voice mail, or a very big nothing burger of songs.
