After a few listens, I think it's her best one since Honeymoon. Her Antonoff era was pretty but too "clean" and happy for me, I feel like the voice and tone is more melancholic here, like folk-country for people who don't know how to be happy, and it's exactly how I love my Del Rey music. This touched me almost straight away, while I had to give more time to NFR or COTCC for them to just feel ok+ at the end.
Jack Antonoff is polishing every asperities that made her music so unique, I can barely recognize even her voice here, she sounds like every white girl with a guitar, and that makes me sad. It's more commercial and will get her more sales/money, good for her, but it's not what made me a fan.
