recently there has been an influx of the 'indie sleaze' style and a lot of the songs here sound very reminiscent of the electronic pop you would hear on the radio in the late 2000's and early 2010's. The vocal inflections and patterns are too noticeably similar to songs I've heard previously, it's very stripped back though; making it sound like ghostly imitation

I’ll re-listen to this later today and maybe it’ll grow on me, but for now these songs are very weak compared to whats on rascal 51

the type of middling self claimed cultured hiphop purists will crucify you for not seeing the novelty in 30 years after-the-fact; at least its bad, not for literally being bad music and only for it having no reason to exist
