This was very meh, heard a lot about Castle Rat, as they are goin on tour with Unto others, a band who I really love. I found this to just be kinda boring, vocals are certainly really cool but it is just very average doom imo

Wow this is insanely fucking boring, they should have stopped long ago. Maybe im a doomer, but 98 percent of black metal fucking sucks. There is rarely any gems, I thankfully find a lot of the gems. I have also found a lot of poo, this happens to be poo.

Unfucking-belivably peak. This band is one of the best doom bands ive ever had the joy of hearing. Fucking amazing, so heavy and so wonderfully organised.
It is not just 1hr of super heavy riffs, it plays so wonderfully with so many elements

I listened to this just over a year ago when I first got into more extreme metal subgenres, and I hated it then. I hate it less now, but holy fuck do I not see what everyone sees in this. Do not get me wrong, I love lo-fi. But the riffs are basically incomprehensible, the vocals sound like literal fart, but not the good kind of fart I see in other genres. Idk what ppl see in this man
Still though, some good aspects, I really love the drumming, the intro fucking rocked as well.
I honestly really loved the instrumentation and the usage of effects on the vocals, but I kinda hated the vocals. I honestly think that is the point. Absolutely insane drummer but kinda hated the vocals
I usually loathe grind, however this is just so awesome man. So angry and some fucking banger vocals
