Axl Rose sounds like a mosquito on steroids who smoked too many packs, would have been even more painful if it wasn‘t for Slash who saves it a bit
Not as cohesive and doesn't have that much of a general theme and concept as Wallsocket, it's just pure unadulterated fun with immensely punchy production and catchy hooks, almost every song here is just straight up a banger and so so SO fucking addicting to the point where I say that this is actually better than her previous album
You can put this on and you will always sense this exhilirating feeling rushing through your body, or at least that's how I feel while listening
This kinda sounds like Taylor Swift if she would lock tf in and went alt
The Bonny - Appetite - When Love Breaks Down run might be one of the greatest 3 track runs I've ever heard
I can appreciate what they were going for and it's really sad knowing the context but sorry I can only listen to Yokos screaming for so long, especially not for 26!!! minutes
Do you know these moments in movies or tv shows where there is like a big emergency in a building and it has to be evacuated or be in lockdown, loud sirens are going off while filling the rooms and hallways with this blinking red light?
This is exactly what this album sounds like
"Wild Mood Swings" is a very fitting name because it swings from the occasional decent and fun song to a really messy and badly executed track, the last 5 songs save it a bit
Kinda wished that more songs would be like House tbh but still really enjoyable overall
First couple of songs just hit you with a wall of distorted guitar and the rest afterwards feels like a deep and warm hug, it sounds like someone trying to cheer you up after you cried
This is my childhood right here but I must say that some of these songs sound a lot better on TV speakers than on headphones 😭, but still there are so many bangers even without nostalgia, WORLDWIDE MY BELOVED
This feels more like dozens of snippets and interludes stitched together and presented as an album with only a couple of bangers inbetween that actually feel like they are fully fleshed out, it just sounds really unfinished especially when you take into account that his last album was 3 whole years ago which ALSO sounded unfinished
Such a shame because I really like his voice and it has a lot of potential production wise and past projects like Nectar have already shown that he can do a lot ... read more
This album is so full of ideas and versatility so it's bound to be so incoherent and messy. But that's exactly why I love this album so much and as confusing as it may sound, I think it is so incoherent that it reverts right back into being cohesive like I can't imagine the track list being any different
Ironically they should've called this Front-Loaded because while the first 3 songs are amazing, the album falls off a giant cliff afterwards with the exception of Oh Sweet Nuthin and maybe I Found A Reason
I actually prefer the second half of their career (starting at s/t) but this is hands down their best album
I just ended up listening to so many songs here on their own so I thought why don't I just give the whole album another relisten and man it's really a grower, it sounds like a warm, fuzzy and cozy blanket covering you while you are watching the night sky full of stars in your room and you can see people partying and blasting music from far away as you are still able to view the flashy lights there and as you can feel the light bass from the music that reaches your place
