Why does every (I only listened to 2) Tears For Fears album only have bangers and then there‘s this one song that completely sucks
Did they put heroin in this or something because why is it so addicting, I could easily listen to this 10 times a day
Listening to this at midnight while being drowsy af was a revelation and also kinda therapeutic
The production is as stellar as usual, I feel like Tyler cant really miss in that department but his performances are really hit or miss for me here, a fitting example would be the last song where I am really not a big fan of the vocals
But overall still a very fun album, very danceable and replayable due to how well it flows and also because of its relatively short length
TIL that he was the voice of Chef from South Park and also a Scientologist and thats the reason why he left the show wtf
Otherwordly and trippy production accompanied by Rockys rapping which just flows so effortlessly
Kinda boring with some cool tracks (really liked the sofaygo songs) but who honestly gaf its just a jackboys drop
But this is not an indicator to see if Travis is washed I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt til his next solo stuff releases then we‘ll see
This album is over 100 minutes long and I still wanted to replay it immediately after the initial first listen
RIP Brian Wilson one of the biggest geniuses and legends in music history
I like the instrumentals but something about how the vocalist sounds (or rather how it’s mixed) on most songs really bugs me, especially the s and th sounds are really strange almost as if he is lisping and it certainly doesnt help that a good chunk of this album consists of talking or talk-singing
Never thought that she would go this route sound wise after Endless Summer Vacation but it totally paid off
This sounds so grande, so bombastic, so epic and yet still so beautiful and her voice complements it extremely well
The first two minutes are like the best first two minutes of an album ever, it's in general one of the best opening songs of an album ever
These guitar riffs are fucking gorgeous oh my god
Edit: Who am I kidding everything is fucking beautiful this is the best album ever
This is just an incredibly consistent disco album.
Nothing too flashy and out there, it just has this groovy and sometimes mellow sound due to the stellar and dynamic production and perfectly fitting vocals which also makes it crazily cohesive. I get a bit of Robyn vibes from it.
But don‘t get me wrong it‘s still an extremely danceable album (I mean it‘s still disco), in fact I would even say that you CAN‘T listen this to album and especially some of the songs on here ... read more
