The whole EP has a great atmosphere and production and the back and forth between the two singers provide a lot of dynamics in the song. Where Light Divides The Holler works as an introduction track and just works all these elements together to introduce you to the rest of the EP.

Yes, this album has Tomorrow Comes Today, 19-2000, Clint Eastwood, Rock the House, etc but these songs don't make up for the problems of other songs on the album. Many of the tracks are repetitive (Re-Hash, Man Research, Slow Country, M1 A1, etc) then others present annoying vocals (5/4, Punk, Latin Simone, New Genious, etc). This album can only be described as insanity and I love it so much because of how uniquely uncomfortable it makes me feel. Throw Pinkerton out of the window guys, this is the correct kind of discomfort. The album features vocals from NEUTRA, a vocal program created by two of the band members for their songs which are sweet yet feel robotic like Alexa. Now I do love this album, it is one of my favorites of all time but I'm not gonna act like it doesn't have bad tracks, mainly Me and My Dad and This Way Out. In the first track, the vocals are horribly mixed and the second, it's very repetitive and goes nowhere. I'm also going to not act like this is for everyone, it isn't, not everyone likes the countryesque vocals with the clearly Devo-inspired instrumentals.
