Paracosm by Absolutely is a solid project overall, and I first found her through No Audience before realising she’s RAYE’s sister! On first listen, it’s a bit mixed, with some songs feeling average but plenty of really strong moments too. Tracks like Paracosm and I Just Don’t Know You Yet and No Furniture stand out. Loreen is still THEE greatest Eurovision winner ever, with the hits of Euphoria and Tattoo. She clearly knows how to make incredible Eurovision songs, but Wildfire as an album just doesn’t live up to that standard. Without Is It Love and Tattoo, the overall score would probably be a lot lower. I still do love Loreen.
Well I am disappointed. Maybe I need to give a second listen. Some songs do have potential though.
RAYE has genuinely delivered something special with THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE. This doesn’t even feel like a normal album, it feels like a full artistic experience.
