Hey I actually kinda love this album now….. so 60 to a 70

I used to really dislike most KPOP, most of them came off to me as Hyperpop wannabes but without the charms, and were abnoxious in a cringy, corny, pretendy bad way to me. Until this album, this is a KPOP album I can get down to. Its Kpop without sweeteners, aka a kpop album who is confident and secure about itself.

OK This is hardstyle rap, but if im being honest, the Pharrell production is being kinda conventional here, you can hear him playing this shit safe. Especially after being spoiled by the second dixon record this year. But credit to the clipse bros, this is another set of deep soild cuts.

This album proves that commercial pop and artpop are two sides of the same coin, with all the lyrics being so blatant and straightforward. The singing is really showing range and texture and the minimalism sound is really there, but the lyrics simply aren’t there. Even Kesha can try to take Kesha out of Kesha and fail to reinvent Kesha.
