Oscar didn't take any of the wind away. BCNR Continues to impress, making this shit look easy with all these hitting rock tunes that don't even feel like trying. They are that goddamn kid back in school that gets straight As even though they don't seem to be the most hardworking. Damn.

Right after midpoint came a few weak points, but the album itself kept the flow going. I like this band when they are doing punchy shit, I think that s where they shine, and I think the AOTY Track List Ratings agree with me. Surprise your parents with this, they might actually wanna talk music with u for once in your lifetime.

i thought I would be bored outta my mind, but damn this album is everything but that. It’s got fun instrumentation and cheesey but not annoying delivery, a bit of lcdsoundsystem chic. Very fun.

This album tought me that every smooth RnB album, in fact, albums that I can be done with and listen through in one sitting is just not that good.

This feels something out of a 2025 remake of Juno, which is one of my favorite coming of age comedies, so I’m not really digging this “Disney live action remake” of a Lucy album. This is the “Harry Styles”-ification of great indie women.
