It might be a little too much for my taste. Still appreciate a lot of the songs on here for what they do - I don't know how I'd listen to them on a casual listen, however.

This album is pretty genius, from the genre-blending of art-pop and contemporary RnB with jazzy elements to the concept of the album down to some of the lyrical content on this album as well.

Admittedly, however, it does have its strong flaws, such as Couren's inability to properly mix high end well on any song or the interludes between almost every song in the 2nd half that go as long as 3 minutes just to really drive the concept home (sorry), which is ambitious but fails due to how annoying ... read more

Although the album somewhat falters in poor vocal performances and rough mixing, the phenomenal production filled with twinkly and pretty atmospheric elements that blend incredibly well together to create an incredibly cohesive sound throughout the album makes up for it.

Last song is kinda demo-ish rn and the rapping on the second song falters at points but this is such a major improvement that I was genuinely blown away and have not stopped being shocked since I listened to it a few hours ago. Taking a break to work on your craft really works I guess :)
