Fear Inoculum

Is it really their best? This album just felt... really dry to me. Devoid of anything unique, redundant in their staple sounds, formulaic, lacking in any elements that stand out to me upfront. I just felt underwhelmed throughout. Certain songs felt longer than they needed to be and I didn’t get the same ferocious instrumentation and vocal presence that made Ænima such a good album. Not riding the hype train for this one.
